Mayflower Day, to celebrate the departure of local boy William Bradford and friends to the New World to avoid persecution in the1690s.
But this is now, and it was held on the 5th of May 2014.
A sort of garden party with stalls and side shows. We were there with both domes open for solar observations and photographs on show. But the Sun didn't play, mostly a cloudy though warm day.
We also brought a Splat the Rat game and the Village Stocks that we use at the boat club. Both seemed very popular, especially the Splat the Rat.
